YABAINE
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
1. Overview
YABAINE Short respects your privacy and handles information only as needed to provide, improve, and operate the service safely.
2. Information We May Collect
We may collect an anonymous user identifier, usage information, device and browser type, viewport size, referrer, interaction events, and error information to improve the service, investigate issues, and prevent misuse.
Camera media, device photos, and Google Photos media are processed only when you explicitly capture or select them.
If you choose to publish to YABAINE Watch, the video you create and an anonymous identifier needed for publishing are sent to the server and made public. You can delete your published data from the completion screen.
Location information is collected only after you select the location pin and grant permission. Coordinates, accuracy, and time are used to confirm a venue or event area and create the location label you choose. When location display is enabled, coordinates are sent to BigDataCloud only to convert them to a place name; the resulting display does not contain exact coordinates.
3. Google Photos Picker
We receive only the photos or videos you explicitly select with Google Photos Picker. We do not browse or obtain your entire Google Photos library.
Selected media is used to create, display, and export YABAINE Short content. It is not used for advertising, sale, or provision to third parties without your permission. Media is primarily processed on your browser or device; a video is stored only when you choose to publish it to YABAINE Watch.
4. Purposes of Use
Information is used to provide the service, generate content, publish to YABAINE Watch when selected, improve quality, analyse errors and usage, prevent misuse, and respond to enquiries.
5. Permissions and Revocation
You can review or remove Google Account access in your Google Account settings. Camera, photo, and location permissions can be changed in your device or browser settings. You can also turn off location display by selecting the pin again.
6. External Services
We may use Google Photos Picker, Google Analytics, BigDataCloud, and YABAINE Watch hosting infrastructure. Information sent to these services is handled under their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Disclosure and Changes
Except where required by law, we do not provide personal information to third parties without consent. Content is shared only when you choose to publish to YABAINE Watch or share to an external service. We may revise this policy when laws or the service change, and will announce material changes in the service.
